Fees & Payment Policies

Like all amateur sports in the United States, competitive swimming teams are supported by fees paid or raised by the member families.  The fees presented below represent the bulk of the team charged fees.  There may be additional small fees for some team activities, fees for travel and major fund raising projects that are not listed below.  You will also be responsible for purchasing team swimsuits, caps, warm-ups, parkas, t-shirts, etc.

Coaching Fees

The RAC AquaHawgs currently offer two options for payment of fees which is monthly payments. The first is a seasonal payment, which are three payments of a four-month time block.  The other choice is monthly payments.  The seasonal plan offers significant savings, however, it must be paid on time and in full in order to receive the savings.  Once late with payment or your swimmer goes inactive; you forfeit this seasonal payment option.  The monthly and seasonal plans will be billed to you and are due by the 25th of the month.  Any seasonal payment not paid by the 25th of the month will automatically be changed to the monthly billing plan.  The table below outlines our current fee structure (fees are per swimmer):

Family Assessment Fee

Each family is a member of the RAC AquaHawgs Boosters.  This organization is responsible for the operating funds of the AquaHawgs which includes equipment, facility rental and other general operating expenses.  This yearly budget exceeds $20,000.00; therefore, Family Assessments are essential for the operation of our organization.

 

The RAC AquaHawgs fiscal year is September  – August. Your initial assessment fee is due by November 1st. The yearly assessment fee is $250.00. A late fee of $50.00 will be added to any unpaid assessments as of November 1st.

 

 

Escrow Account

An amount of $75.00 per swimmer will be held in an escrow account to pay entry fees at the meets which require them.  For most younger and beginner swimmers these charges are nominal or nonexistent.  Each month your bill will reflect any funds used and the meet for which they were used, at which time it will be necessary for the account to be brought back up to $75.00.

 

 

United States Swimming Registration

USA Swimming is the governing body of competitive aquatics in the United States.  This organization provides our rules and regulations, officials, and insurance.  All members of the AquaHawgs team must complete this form and provide a copy of their birth certificate.  The cost is $55.00 per year and checks must be made payable to:  RAC AquaHawgs, Inc.  Each registration is valid until December 31st of that year. Swimmers new to the RAC AquaHawgs who have competed for another USA Swimming team this year must complete a transfer form at the time of their registration.
